Cleanliness throughout the rooms impressed me, and having a bottle of Radox in the bathroom to soak after hiking was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast offered a range of options beyond the full English, allowing for customization with a simple note.

The single room felt small with minimal storage, leaving my clothes cramped in the suitcase, and the bed was softer than my taste. The heating struggled a bit, making the early winter nights a bit too chilly. The shared shower added a level of inconvenience, especially with no designated drying room for wet gear.

A warm stay in Ambleside

Woke up to the delightful aroma of fresh coffee every morning, while the hosts offered invaluable hiking tips and local insights, truly making me feel welcome and at home.

The bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired, and the parking situation, while manageable, required some attention to street signs for time limits.

Ambleside adventure 🌄

Lekker location for exploring, my room had all the right vibes, and the brekkie was out of this world! Best scrambled eggs ever, I felt so spoiled. Got to watch a flick at Fellini's, proper cool experience!

Only downside was the parking situation—had to keep an eye on the time for street parking.

Had a pure braw time here! The breakfast was outstanding, especially the quality bacon and proper freshly cooked options. Only downside was the short serving window. Perfect spot near everything in Ambleside, so I'd be back in a heartbeat!

Comfortable stay with a warm welcome

We had a lovely time here! The room was super cozy and clean, and Wendy made us feel right at home. The free parking was also a nice touch, even if it was a bit further than expected. Just watch the time for check-in, that could be tricky. Breakfast was delish, with the best scrambled eggs ever!
